Just returned from a fantastic week's holiday at Mariner's Cottage, Spittal, Berwick. Even with 2 adults, 6 children and 2 dogs, the house and garden were massive. Sauna wonderful! Flowers and wine on the table when we arrived was a really thoughtful touch. Could happily have moved in permanently! Location ideal as only a few minutes walk from the beach and the kids loved the nearby football pitch. Beaches delightful and a wealth of attractions to visit. A week wasn't long enough. Would love to return.

Great house with fabulous views. Ideal base for exploring. Large accommodation ideal for 2 families or more with a fantastic garden.

Very comfortable house to stay in, wonderfully spacious both inside and out. The spectacular views of the coast and over to Berwick-upon-Tweed were made the most of in the living room, it was difficult to tear yourself away from them. And yes there are trains at the bottom of the garden and if you are nice and wave, the driver will sound his horn for you - yeah!

Great holiday. When we first arrived we noticed the cottage was next to the main East Coast railway line and thought we were going to have sleepless nights but no disrupted night sleep, in fact, we enjoyed watching them pass during the day.
